THIS LITTLE GUY RESTING ON CLOUD 9 IS WELCOMING YOU TO BAMBINO ZOOM & SHOOTZ PHOTOGRAPHY

Cute little Selden, just a few days new.

I love using white with babies, it brings out purity and innocence and a heavenly look that many parents adore.

CONSULTATIONS

CONSULTATIONS

To have a successful newborn or other type of session I always have pre-consultations with the parents to find out what colors and/or themes they would like for their session. I help with color co-ordinations and choice of colors to match what colors they have in their homes where their photos will be displayed. Consultations are held in the studio or at a coffee shop, my treat.

If in studio, the client will be able to have an up front look of props they would like to use, and that helps us all to know what we are going for. This type of pre-planning helps reduce wait time during the session.

SIBLINGS

SIBLINGS

Siblings are more than welcome to the newborn session. I will find ways of interactions that helps a not much older sibling to gladly pose for me. Having run a professional child care for 11 years in the past has taught me a few tricks to help communicate with small children and turn them my way. I can of course not guarantee success every time, but parents have expressed how patient I am with children that otherwise not easily co-operate. I am thankful for that.

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

I have a special place in my heart for special needs children. I have a son of my own and now also a little nephew with Downs Syndrome.

This is my nephew Eli, and every January I honor him by waiving the session fee for all children with special needs. I understand how children with special needs get unrestful in a new environment and especially with a lot of people around like in a public studio. My studio is a home studio and I never schedule my sessions close in time so that I have plenty of time to work with children that are otherwise not so co-operative.

By now Eli is 3.5 years old and I have had more successful sessions with him since.

SENTIMENTAL VALUE

SENTIMENTAL VALUE

Sometimes moms love to bring their own props to the session because it has sentimental value to them.

This is little Milo displaying a quilt and a scarf that meant a lot to mom. I think Milo did an excellent job of that and I simply cannot express how cute that little puckered up lip is and the stare is to die for. Moms are welcome to introduce their special props for sessions of any age.

PURE PERFECTION

PURE PERFECTION

This is such a sweet, little princess. Mom waited on her arrival with so much anticipation and now we can really see what this doll is all about. A head full of gorgeous black hair and sweet little piggies that soon will start walking the path of life.

Professional Portraiture of your newborn helps you remember the smell of new skin, remember every little wrinkle and roll and the feel of the soft hair and a face full of little, detailed expressions. Baby feet, tiny hands, the tiny little nose.

With time we tend to forget, but a photo has recorded the forever lasting memory for all to cherish and enjoy.

If posed and cropped correctly I always emphasize how important that mom and dad can be in the photos if at all possible. Moms can feel uncomfortable with having photos done right after birth, but I always make sure to help them feel wonderful and relaxed and assure them that the photos will be something to cherish.

A Newborn is Sunshine and
Moonbeams and more.
Brightening Your World
as never before.

MY INSPIRATION

MY INSPIRATION

My fabulous 5, my great inspiration.

After adopting 3 siblings from the same mother I was told to close my child care if I wanted to adopt the 4th sibling. I wanted the siblings to grow up together and that is why a photography business was my next option. That little sweetness and handsomeness on the right side is the reason for what I do for a living today.

I also want to thank my oldest son for being such a sport to share his bio mom with the rest of the gang.

WE ARE SISTERS FOREVER

WE ARE SISTERS FOREVER

Studio time with mom is my girls´ favorite home time activity. They love to dress up and are always ready. Posing it just right is challenging sometimes, but I love a challenge and they are fast learners.

Posing techniques have to be learned and taught by the photographer. What works for girls this age will not work for busy toddlers, but we have our bag of tricks for every age. Busy toddlers get tricked without knowing it and children with special needs is another of my favorite sessions.

Photography is about connections. If I cannot connect with my subjects, we will not be looking at photos that touch people. I make it a priority to get to know who I will be photographing so we can have the best of success.

CONNECTIONS

CONNECTIONS

I love to catch a moment of togetherness. Love between brothers is so special.

These are our three boys and the two littles are always chasing each other for attention and rough play. Even though the oldest is mostly busy with homework, church and community service, he always takes time to play with his two younger brothers. That is why they love him so.

Our oldest has social challenges and is not very fond of the camera pointed at him, so we decided to let them all look at each other and I love how it turned out as it shows through how much they all are connected and love each other. We are so thankful that we were blessed with two brothers for our oldest through adoption, it has helped him to come out of his shell through active play and thereby "forced" interaction.

GETTING COZY AND COMFORTABLE

GETTING COZY AND COMFORTABLE

Studio time with mom is relaxing. She loves to hang out and she is my most natural poser.

This girl was our Valentine Present in 2008. The State knocked on our door and asked if we could foster her since we already were fostering her older sister at that time. By now we have adopted her and 3 of her siblings. We could not ask for a better present on such a special day.

Making it relaxing and comfortable in the studio is always a goal of mine when getting ready for sessions. The less things to do after the clients arrive, the more confidence for all parties that we are here to make it productive and end up with some great photo gems without keeping the clients on board for too long. A typical child session lasts about one hour so we can do 2-3 setups using our prop library.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Event photography is definitely becoming more popular. It is hard for a party host to walk around with a camera and take photos while being in charge of food and guests.

Weddings and birthday parties, reunions and quinceaneras (sweet 16) are events I get asked about the most, but I am open to others as well.

Event photography is paid for per every started half hour with $49 and refundable for one half hour if less than 10 minutes into it. Timing starts when I am asked to show up for the event.

The cost includes camera time, use of equipment, travel time within 40 miles and editing of all the photos.

All the photos are delivered on a thumb drive in 4x6 size which is the camera ratio.

For enlargements which involves more fine editing, I will give a price list upon request.

For events longer than 6 hours, I offer a free 16x20 photo print of your most favorite photo.

OUTDOOR LOCATIONS, DOWNTOWN LOCATION 1

OUTDOOR LOCATIONS, DOWNTOWN LOCATION 1

Outdoor sessions are especially popular among high school seniors. I scout for many locations when out in public and a senior gets to pick 3 locations and 3 changes of clothes to give the opportunities for a lot of variety to their portfolio.

I also provide services like emailing photos to the year book manager and making templates for their graduation invites.

PENCIL SKETCHES AND OTHER

PENCIL SKETCHES AND OTHER

Pencil Sketches are available on my product list, they can be a special treasure for the child growing up.

They are being made from a photo of the session.

Other than pencil sketches, I offer prints, canvases with or without framing, coffee table books and any product a photo can be printed on.

When a client spends $250 plus in prints and products from a session, I gift the client with a precious photo box with all their photos from the session in 6x4. My clients love those and they all have a special linen texture. On top I waive the $49 session fee to use toward an online gallery or more prints.

Online galleries including a 10 year back up with renewal available to the client is provided for $49. This keeps your photos safe online and after 10 years you can renew for another $29 (current renewal pricing 2015).

The online gallery will also work as a shop if you want more photos down the road.

If you spend $600 on your session, I will make your gallery in full resolution so you can download photos any time you need it in the future for gifts and other needs you might have.
